 Los barros del mar muerto constituye un material natural, que se viene utilizando desde hace miles de años como tratamiento cosmético y terapeutico.

Con respecto a las propiedades cosméticas de los barros del mar muerto, el barro limpia la piel de  forma profunda y la nutre, actuando como rejuvenecedor, antiarrugas, antiseborreico, anticelulítico, exfoliativo y revitalizador.

 Los barros del mar muerto tienen propiedades refrescantes, antiinflamatorias y cicatrizantes porque están constituido por los minerales existentes en el agua y la tierra y por su alto contenido en oligoelementos. Al evaporarse el agua, el barro se transforma en un elemento libre de contaminación y con las cualidades de tonificar, desinfectar, hidratar, estimular, pulir y depurar la piel. 

  Desde la antigüedad, los barros del Mar Muerto han sido utilizados en tratamientos complementarios para dolores musculares, reumatismo, artritis, celulitis, psoriasis, eczemas y otras enfermedades dermatológicas.
